Q：Which foundation should I use if my makeup tends to settle into fine lines?
A： Lightweight Foundation is the best option if your skin has a lot of fine lines or is thinning. If you need more coverage in certain areas (e.g. cheeks), apply Lightweight Foundation all over the face first, then add Cream Foundation locally where extra coverage is needed.
Q： Can I use your foundations if I am sensitive to fragrances?
A： Yes, you can. Our foundations are fragrance-free.
Q：What should I use to remove makeup?
A：FLOW COSMETICS Balm to Milk Facial Cleanser gently removes makeup without drying the skin. Massage onto dry or slightly damp skin. It can also be used to remove eye makeup (not suitable for lash extensions). Add water and massage in circular motions to emulsify, then rinse thoroughly.
Q：What is the difference between Cream Foundation and Lightweight Foundation?
A：Cream Foundation provides more coverage and a more matte finish. Lightweight Foundation is lighter and more radiant.
We recommend Lightweight Foundation especially for dry and aging skin, as it does not settle into fine lines. Cream Foundation can also work for dry skin if the skin is well moisturized beforehand.
Q：How do I choose the right shade?
A：If you usually use pink-based foundations, choose a cool tone. If you use yellow-based foundations, choose a warm tone.
Q：Can I use your foundations if my skin is prone to breakouts?
A：Yes. Our foundations are breathable and do not clog pores. Cream Foundation may be a better choice if you need more coverage. We also offer Mattifying Mineral Foundation for oily skin, which provides even higher coverage if needed.

The Brand
Flow cosmetics was created by a Finland mother, aromatherapist and innovator Riitta Jänkälä who believes that makeup, shampoo and handcream should not be formulated with tons of chemicals and artificial ingredients in 2004. Rather, it should harness the healing benefits of Finland's plentiful indigenous ingredients. Holding to this belief, all Flow cosmetics products are 100% natural & chemical free and organic ingredients are used whenever possible.
We strive to make the products as natural as possible, while making sure that they really work as well. (Riitta, founder of Flow Cosmetics) Certified organic ingredients are used whenever possible, making the proportion of either organically grown or wild ingredients from arctic nature in the products particularly high. These pure and natural Ecocert approved ingredients are also abundant with substances that are important to the skin, including vitamins and antioxidants. To ensure the quality of the raw materials, purchases are made from various organic Finalnd farms and trustworthy European partners with certified products.
All products of Flow cosmestics are handmade, developed and dispatched in a small factory in Hyvinkää. The products are made in small batches.The brand has specially developed a variety of water-free products so as to avoid the use of any preservatives, with the few exceptions of water-based emulsions and skin toners that uses Ecocert and COSMOS approved natural preservatives.
